Return & Exchange Process

1. Initiate Your Request

Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the plant in its received condition
  • Reason for return/exchange

2. Receive Authorization

Our plant specialists will review your request within 2 business days and provide:

  • Return shipping instructions (if applicable)
  • Exchange options for similar specimens
  • Any special care instructions for returning live plants

3. Ship Your Return (If Required)

For non-perishable items or damaged plants:

  • Pack the plant securely in its original packaging when possible
  • Include all plant tags and care instructions

4. Receive Your Refund or Replacement

Once we receive and inspect your return:

Refund Details

  • Timing: 5 business days after we receive your return
  • Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Special Considerations for Live Plants

Due to the delicate nature of our botanical specimens:

  • Plants showing signs of improper care after delivery may not qualify for refund
  • Perishable items (like certain fragrant plants and fruit trees) may require different return procedures
  • Custom or special order trees (such as mature magnolias or eucalyptus) may be non-returnable

Non-Returnable Items

To protect our plants’ wellbeing, these items typically cannot be returned:

  • Custom-sized or mature trees (over 6ft tall)
  • Plants removed from original packaging or repotted
  • Specimens showing signs of post-delivery damage from improper care
  • Clearance or final sale items

Exchange Policy

We happily exchange plants within 15 days of delivery if:

  • The plant is in its original, resalable condition
  • All care tags and documentation are included
  • The requested exchange plant is of equal or lesser value

Note: Due to international plant regulations, exchanges to certain Asian countries and remote regions may be restricted.

Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

If your bamboo plants, houseplants, or trees arrive damaged or incorrect:

  1. Photograph the packaging and plant immediately
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  3. In most cases, we’ll ship a replacement immediately without requiring return
